Invermere's primary childcare facility.

Our infant and toddler program is designed to accommodate children 10 months to 3 years of age. We incorporate free play, circle time, sensory activities, walks and outside time as well as a variety of other activities.

The group childcare program offers a safe, educational environment for children ages 3-5 to grow and develop their social skills. We incorporate field trips, baking, dancing, music, centre time and lots of play into their schedule.

We offer 2 preschool groups, a 3 year old class on Mondays and Thursdays, and a 4 year old class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to guide our children in developing core social, emotional, language and numeracy skills for kindergarten.

This program is designed to offer care for school aged children after school hours, on professional development days and holidays. This is an active program with lots of outdoor time, play, crafts and field trips.

We also operate the after school programs at Eileen Madson Primary School and Edgewater Elementary School

Windermere Valley Childcare Society is a not for profit organization established in 1975. As Invermere’s primary childcare facility, WVCCS has been carefully designed to ensure it is a safe, comfortable environment to accommodate the abilities and needs of all children. Our goal is to provide the community a safe and loving environment where we can play, learn and grow together.
